Very interesting read. My dad passed away when I was 14, he was born literally dirt poor in Kansas and self taught himself to be a private home architect. When work was good he was bringing in millions a year, but he was over leveraged when the 2008 crash hit and he had to sell the house we lived in (that he also built) and file bankruptcy. I really wonder the type of advice he would give if he was still around. Thanks for writing this!
