4 Daily Practices for Healthy Remote Work

As the world shifts towards remote work, many of us are finding our health and professions mixed in unexpected ways. This can be both a good and bad thing — we have the extra time to focus on our health, but with no office coworkers around it can be easy to slouch in your chair all day. This is why the first step in healthy remote work is to acknowledge that your health is absolutely paramount, and you are solely responsible for your health.

That being said, there are a few habits that make a huge impact on my daily life. They help me stay healthy in physical, social, mental, and financial ways. Hopefully, you can find them helpful too. Here are 4 tips that help me balance my health alongside remote work.

#1 — Learn How To Cook

I really can’t understate the benefits of learning how to cook for yourself. Not only do you save enormous amounts of money compared to takeout, it’s not as hard as you think to cook really good food. Plus, home-cooked meals are far more healthy than most restaurants as the whole ingredients you buy don’t have all of that added fat, sugar and sodium.
